Founded in 2007, Geneva Rustics launched as a small town operation catering to local residents looking for unique garden birdhouses, home accents and rustic furniture . Although, we still produce furniture and home accent pieces, a great deal of our time today is devoted to the building of our handcrafted birdhouses. The incredible positive response from our customers led us down this path. With that said, Geneva Rustics welcomes you to the growing number of garden enthusiasts, birders and nature lovers discovering our distinctive and high-quality handcrafted birdhouses. Initially, we launched with 4 standard models. Today, we produce more than 16 standard models and also produce special order models requested by our customers.

Each birdhouse is hand-distressed to give an old-country look and feel. We use non toxic water based dyes, milk paint and other time tested techniques to color our birdhouses. Each piece is nailed, screwed and glued for long-lasting strength and durability. To accent each piece we use reclaimed branches, twigs, pinecones and other forest floor items. Thus, giving each piece its own flare and personality. As a result, every birdhouse we build is truly one-of-a-kind. They are equally attractive indoors or out. In fact, many of our customers think that they are just too charming to place outside, so they choose to keep them inside as decorative home accents.

Each birdhouse is hand assembled. The rear of each piece has an access plug for easy seasonal cleaning. Each birdhouses has a 1 1/4″ opening… the ideal size to accommodate a variety of small nesting birds anywhere. Each Geneva Rustics birdhouse is an original. No two are exactly alike.
